Are Import Duties Included in Your COKODIVE Order?

COKODIVE’s FAQ says customs duties, import taxes and other import-related fees are not included in product prices or shipping fees. Your destination’s rules determine whether charges apply. Review any tax shown at checkout separately, and consult your customs authority or carrier if you are unsure what remains payable when the parcel enters your country.

Shipping and import charges cover different things

A shipping charge pays for the delivery service shown with your order. An import assessment concerns goods entering a country. Paying for express shipping therefore does not establish that every destination charge has already been collected.

Before buying, keep three records together: the item description, your checkout total and the order confirmation. These help you ask about the same purchase if a carrier later requests information or payment.

Why there is no single worldwide answer

Use an official source for your destination rather than another fan’s bill. An order sent to a different country, bought at a different value or placed under different rules is not a reliable calculator for yours.

For a UK example, GOV.UK’s guidance on goods sent from abroad explains that VAT and Customs Duty are distinct and that a postal operator or courier may contact the recipient about charges. It also describes cases in which VAT is collected by the seller. This example does not establish the tax treatment of every COKODIVE order or another country’s rules.

If you receive a payment request

  1. Compare the shipment reference with your dispatch email.
  2. Open the carrier’s official tracking or billing service independently to verify the request.
  3. Ask for a breakdown if the charge is unclear, particularly if your receipt already shows tax.
  4. Keep the notice and receipt when contacting the carrier or Customer Care.

Do not assume refusing the parcel produces a full refund. COKODIVE’s published pages describe return costs and possible loss of a parcel when import requirements are not completed. Because the pages use different refund wording, ask Customer Care about your actual shipment before making a decision.

Quick questions

Does free shipping mean no import charges?

No. A shipping promotion does not establish an exemption from your destination’s import rules.

Can this guide calculate my exact bill?

No. Use the current official rules and the details of your shipment; ask the carrier or customs authority about an assessment.

What if I think a charge was already collected?

Keep your checkout receipt and ask the carrier and Customer Care what each line covers. Do not assume two differently labelled amounts are automatically the same tax.
